Gym memberships are available for those over 18 years of age to purchase. Pricing is determined by your relationship to Princeton University. Princeton University students receive FREE access to Dillon Gym, and therefore do not need to purchase a membership. Please visit our Member Services page for complete information on obtaining a membership based on your status.

Currently, a gym membership allows the use of Dillon Gym (Main Gym Floor, Group Fitness Room, Multipurpose Room, Cardio Annex), Stephens Fitness Center, lockers and shower facilities.
Dillon Pool, Squash Courts, Dance Studio, and Martial Arts Room are unavailable for use at this time.
We do not offer a pool only membership.

During the academic year, hours are generally between 6:00am – 12:00 am Monday – Thursday; 6:00am - 10:00pm Friday; 8:00am – 10:00pm Saturdays; and 8:00am - 12:00am Sundays. Hours do change during holidays and break periods. Please visit Facility Hours for the current schedule.

Lockers are available on a yearly or daily basis. See the front desk staff in the Dillon Gym lobby for a locker assignment. We do not provide towel service at Dillon Gym. Please visit our Facility Use Policies for more specific information.

Yes, lost items for Dillon Gym are kept in a secure area near the front desk in the Dillon Gym lobby. For Stephens Fitness Center, please see their desk attendant.

Yes, Guest Passes can be purchased at the front desk in Dillon Gym. There is a $10.00 fee per guest of a gym member or student. If paying in cash you must have exact change. (In both cases, the guest must be accompanied by the sponsoring member or student.) Alumni and Faculty/Staff can self-sponsor themselves as a guest for $10. Please visit our Facility Use Policies for more specific information.
Departments may also arrange to purchase guest passes by following these instructions.

Yes, a wide variety of equipment is available at no charge for use in the facilities. Equipment items range from basketballs, swim or racquetball goggles to ping pong paddles and balls. You will be required to leave your PUID until you return the equipment.

There is no parking available at Dillon Gym itself. Current visitor parking information and the campus visitor map can be found on the University’s Transportation and Parking Services website. For more information on accessible parking and transit, please see the Campus Accessibility page.
Metered street parking through the Municipality of Princeton is available on University Place, College Road, and Nassau Street.

Yes, we have a number of personal trainers who are available and can be hired at a relatively nominal cost. Please visit Personal Training for more information.

While we do not offer a trial for the gym we do have some options available. Faculty/Staff and Alumni may self-sponsor themselves for a $10 guest fee. We also offer One Time Class Passes to try one of our classes. Please visit our Facility Use Policies for more information.

No, a gym membership is not required to use the tennis courts, but a tennis permit is needed to reserve court time. Tennis permits are sold ONLY at Jadwin Gym. The outdoor tennis courts at the Lenz Center are available for both members of the University and the surrounding community at no charge, subject to availability. The lights are solely for the use of Varsity and Sport Club teams. Please visit Informal Recreation for more information.
