Princeton Swim Lessons coincide with the University Academic Semesters.

 

Level Descriptions

Beginner: This is an introductory level for adults. It will help establish a comfort level in the water as well as the basics of freestyle and backstroke. This class takes place in the shallow end (wading pool- 3-4 feet.)

Beginner- Intermediate: This level is for those between the beginner swimmer level and a lap swimmer. It is will help in becoming a more proficient swimmer. This class takes place in the shallow end and may progress the the lanes, depending on individual participant level.

Intermediate: The intermediate class is designed for those who are comfortable swimming laps. It focuses on reviewing and improving technique in freestyle and backstroke as well as introducing other strokes. This class takes place in the 25 yard lanes.

Beginner-Intermediate
9/26, 10/3, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24, 11/7, 11/14, 11/21 (Makeups- 12/5)
No lessons: 10/31 (Fall Break)

Cost
Each session day has 8 classes + 1 makeup class = $175
(Makeup lessons are for any participant who miss a day of class in that session.)

Important Information

What to bring to swim class:
Towel
Bathing suit
Googles- optional but recommended
Swim Cap- optional
First Day of Lessons: Please arrive 5-10 minutes early. Aquatics instructors will be on deck to greet you.
Location: All classes are held at Dillon Pool (NOT DENUNZIO POOL) located in Dillon Gym at Princeton University, Princeton, NJ 08544
