Ballroom Dance

The Princeton Ballroom Dance Club (PBDC) was founded in 1983 by Neil Clover to promote social and competitive ballroom dancing on the Princeton University campus and its surrounding community. The club consists of students (undergraduate and graduate), faculty, and members of the community. The PBDC teaches International style dances, which include Waltz, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Rumba, Cha-Cha, Samba, Jive, and Paso Doble. Club members range from absolute beginners to experienced dancers. We aim to provide a pleasant and friendly dancing environment for those who wish to learn to dance socially, as well as for those who would like to participate in intercollegiate competitions. Partners and experience are not required to join the club. Each semester the club organizes a formal ball to raise funds and as an excuse to dress up and dance!
