Contest Registration Opens: Monday, February 24, 2025

Contest Registration Closes: Tuesday, March 18, 2025

Eligibility/Entry:

Any undergraduate or graduate student currently enrolled at Princeton University.

Design Criteria:

• The T-shirt Design must be your own original, unpublished work. By entering the contest, you agree that your submission is your own work, and Princeton University Campus Recreation has exclusive rights to use your design.
• Your design must be either Full Chest or Full Front. Please let us know which format your design is created for. 
• The following MUST be incorporated into your design:
  • "Dodgeball"
  • "Tournament" 
  • "2025"
  • "Princeton"/"Princeton University"
• The recommended number of colors to use are 2 colors.
  • Please be aware that the t-shirt color will be white when planning out which colors to use. 
  • NOTE: The official Princeton orange is Pantone 165C or #ff671f, if you wish to use orange. 
• The format of your submission must:
  • include your design name & your name in the file.
  • be in high resolution and to be submitted as a .jpg, .png, .pdf, .ai, or .psd file.
  • not be a photograph.
  • have cleaned-up, solid lines (especially if it is hand-drawn).

T-Shirt Judging Criteria:

• Our contest judges will evaluate the T-Shirt design based on the following criteria:
  • Submission meets the criteria stated above
  • Creativity and innovation
  • Eye appeal, color and layout 
• The top T-Shirts will be selected by the Campus Rec Marketing Team and will be open for voting to the general student population (you can find announcements on our Instagram @PUCampusRec)
• The final decision will be made considering the public vote and the Campus Recreation staff.

Contest Awards (Announced March 27, 2025):

• 1st Place: HP Sprocket 200 Photo Printer AND $20 Paw Points
• 2nd Place: Owala FreeSip Waterbottle (Choose your color!)
• 3rd Place: Campus Rec SWAG Bag
• Every submission will receive 25 Campus Rec Cup Points for the residential college/eating club that the submitter is a part of. 

Purpose of T-Shirt:

The winning design will be used for the official t-shirt for the 2025 Dodgeball Tournament and given to participants during the event.

Fine Print

• The Artist Agreement & Release in the submission form concerns the design produced by the student submitting the form to the Princeton University Dodgeball Tournament T-shirt Design Contest. 
• Princeton University Campus Recreation reserves the right to make adjustments and alterations to the winning entry. 
• By agreeing to the Artist Agreement & Release section in the submission form, the artist(s) grant non-exclusive rights to the company to publish, display, or otherwise make the design available for viewing, whether on the internet, within the company, or in other venues. 
• These rights will not expire but will exist for as long as the company continues to use the design. Additionally, by signing the release you acknowledge that you have read the T-shirt Design Contest guidelines, rules, and fine print and that your submission is original, non-copyrighted work.
