Matt Ostermeyer, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Practice in the Teaching, Learning and Sociocultural Studies Department at the University of Arizona where he is also the Program Coordinator for the Recreation and Sport in Communities, Parks and Schools minor. Dr. Ostermeyer received his PhD in Leisure Behavior from Indiana University. His professional experience includes 15 years in the field of parks and recreation. Matt is most passionate about the power of public parks and related programs, especially their potential to promote social equity and improve our quality of life.
