The Princeton Ballroom Dance Club (PBDC) was founded in 1983 by Neil Clover to promote social and competitive ballroom dancing on the Princeton University campus and its surrounding community. The club consists of undergraduate and graduate students, from absolute beginners to experienced dancers. The PBDC teaches International style dances, which include Waltz, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Rumba, Cha-Cha, Samba, Jive, and Paso Doble. We aim to provide a pleasant and friendly dancing environment for those who wish to learn to dance socially, as well as for those who would like to participate in intercollegiate competitions. Partners and experience are not required to join the club. In addition to hosting a yearly competition, the club also hosts socials and travels to other schools for social dances and competitions!
