Princeton University Figure Skating Club (PUFSC) gives students the perfect opportunity to combine a top-notch education and their desire to keep skating in college. PUFSC welcomes skaters of all levels, from beginner to international competitor, and provides daily ice time, lessons, and competitive and performance opportunities for figure skaters on campus at Baker Rink. Club members have the opportunity to compete in intercollegiate competitions across the nation throughout the year in singles, ice dance, and synchronized skating. Most club members participate in our competitive open-collegiate synchronized skating team. We practice twice a week on ice with two professional coaches and once a week under our captains instruction. Every year, we represent Princeton at two competitions including the Eastern Synchronized Skating Sectional Championships, where we won the 2017 Eastern Sectional Champions.
The club also hosts two annual ice shows at Baker (the Holiday Ice Show in December and Tigers on Ice in April), where the synchronized skating team showcases their competition program and all club members are encouraged to choreograph and perform solos, duets, and group numbers.
Princeton University Figure Skating Club is an entirely student-run organization, and we are always looking for enthusiastic new members. The club is a fantastic way to make new friends, stay active, get involved on campus, and share a love of figure skating!
This organization is open to all Princeton University students interested in supporting our organization’s mission, regardless of identity, such as race, sex, ethnicity, national origin, or other protected characteristics.
