Camp Open Houses

Bring your family to Dillon Gymnasium to learn more about the Princeton University Summer Day Camp! You will have the opportunity to meet some of our staff members, check out our facility, and ask questions.

    COVID-19 Safety Precautions

All camp staff and camp participants must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (at least 2 weeks have passed since receiving the second dose of a two-dose vaccine or the single dose of a one-dose vaccine) and follow the policy for masks in effect at the time of their visit.

    • If your child has been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, they may continue to attend camp as long as they feel well while wearing a mask and monitoring their symptoms.
    • If your child has tested positive for COVID-19, please contact Tim Phanthavong as soon as possible.
    • Please review the Princeton COVID Resources for additional guidance.

Additionally, the operations of our camp will meet and maintain the guidelines set forth by the State of New Jersey:

    Camp Hours

Camp drop-off is between 8:00-9:00am and camp pick-up is between 4:00-4:45pm. Post camp is offered from 4:45-5:15pm for an additional $25 per week.

    Grade Groups

Junior camp is for children entering grades 1 through 5 in the fall of 2023. Senior camp is for children entering grades 6 through 8 in the fall of 2023. We always split kids up into age-appropriate groups, which generally consist of 1st Grade, 2nd & 3rd Grade, 4th & 5th Grade, and then Seniors (Grades 6-8).

    Lunch & Snacks

Campers should bring their lunches with them each day. Please don't let your camper leave home without lunch and a beverage. We ask that you please do not send money with your camper to buy a beverage on campus as we cannot escort the campers to stores or vending machines.

    Camp Dress

Shorts, T-shirts, and sneakers are appropriate. Due to the activities scheduled for each day, we ask that you do not allow the campers to wear sandals or crocs to camp. This footwear can be dangerous to children and can cause injury when participating in athletic activities.

Campers will need bathing suits and towels each day. We also recommend bringing sunscreen every day. On cool days, please provide your camper with a light jacket or sweater.
