Camp Open Houses
Bring your family to Dillon Gymnasium on Tuesday, February 15th from 10am-2pm or Saturday, March 5th from 10am-2pm to learn more about Princeton University Summer Day Camp! You will have opportunities to meet some of our staff members, check out our facility, and have your questions answered. Please note that masks are required indoors.
COVID-19 Safety Precautions
All camp staff and campers will need to be fully vaccinated for Covid-19, including booster shots if eligible. Attestation forms will be required for each camper. Masks may be required indoors.
- If your child has been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, they may continue to attend camp as long as they feel well while wearing a mask and monitoring their symptoms.
- If your child has tested positive for COVID-19, please contact Tim Phanthavong as soon as possible.
- Please review the Princeton COVID Resources for additional guidance.
Additionally, the operations of our camp will meet and maintain the guidelines set forth by the State of New Jersey:
- Youth Camp Safety Standards N.J.A.C. 8:25
- Executive Order 149
- Executive Directive No. 20-021 Youth Camp
Camp drop-off is between 8:00-9:00am and camp pick-up is between 4:00-4:45pm. Post camp is offered from 4:45-5:15pm for an additional $25 per week.
Junior camp is for children entering grades 1 through 5 in the fall of 2022. Senior camp is for children entering grades 6 through 8 in the fall of 2022. We always split kids up into age-appropriate groups, which generally consist of 1st Grade, 2nd & 3rd Grade, 4th & 5th Grade, and then Seniors (Grades 6-8).
Lunch & Snacks
Campers should bring their lunches with them each day. Please don't let your camper leave home without lunch and a beverage. We ask that you please do not send money with your camper to buy a beverage on campus as we cannot escort the campers to stores or vending machines.
Shorts, T-shirts, and sneakers are appropriate. Due to the activities scheduled for each day, we ask that you do not allow the campers to wear sandals or crocs to camp. This footwear can be dangerous to children and can cause injury when participating in athletic activities.
Campers will need bathing suits and towels each day. We also recommend bringing sunscreen every day. On cool days, please provide your camper with a light jacket or sweater.
